Making people feel special and supported is something that comes naturally to me and genuinely brings me so much joy.
Why Courgette?
When my daughter was very little, I cleared out the old potting shed at Kentchurch and created a small honesty stall. Together, we stocked it with surplus vegetables and freshly cut flowers from the garden. That summer, we had an abundance of courgettes and I loved the idea of one day creating a venue and cafe that celebrated delicious, homegrown food from the kitchen garden (including, of course, the courgettes!) And so, the name Courgette stuck.

It was incredible to see all the planning come to fruition; our three-day stay at Dewsall Court and wedding celebration was just amazing! We all felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived, and you and the team were brilliant with helping us set everything up quickly and efficiently. This meant we had time to spend with our friends and family without worrying about any of the logistics, and really allowed us to fully settle in, be completely present, and truly enjoy ourselves.
This experience also continued into our legal ceremony and throughout our main wedding celebration. The way you coordinated everything, kept things to time, and handled all the logistics while being such a joyful presence was remarkable!
Thank you also for going above and beyond in helping to style the day. Your creativity and elevation of our plans and décor were amazing. The extra candles in the church and the setup of the main house after dinner were so special, and such a beautiful surprise on the day.

“We’ll start with Rosie. When we first met with Rosie, we thought we had wedding planning down. We had a florist, we had the venue, we had a few bands in mind, Dewsall came with a church on site… We were on top of it. And then… We saw Rosie. The master spreadsheet. The organisation, the other little things you don’t think of, a few other things on top of that that Rosie introduced us to. And that’s not to say we were presented with all of this to sort single handedly.
We had a GREAT help in Rosie to ensure that we had all the wedding bases covered and make sure we had an amazing day. We had multiple check-ins along the way to confirm what we had been up to and so Rosie could help communicate with suppliers to help ensure things went well on the day.
